Our Responsibility
As the world’s second most polluting industry, fashion is due to use up “a quarter of the worlds carbon budget by 2050”. This unsustainable system’s heavy contribution to the climate crisis not only has detrimental effects on our planet, but also our people, with studies demonstrating that ethnic minorities and black communities are the most effected by climate change. On top of this, the industry continues to exploit unethical labour and poor working conditions in order to achieve the infamous cheap prices of fast fashion.
By recognising our social and environmental responsibility, NiiPPY Studios is a pathway to change. We are not yet where we’d like to be in terms of circularity, however we are continuously working towards our goal of becoming entirely sustainable throughout our business model.
We feel honesty is 100% the best policy. This is why we have created a detailed breakdown of our supply chain for each collection we produce.
